Whalley Farm bed and breakfast is a winning choice when looking for accommodation for Cheltenham Racecourse

Whalley Farm is conveniently located for Cheltenham Racecourse and offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation for guests coming to Cheltenham Races. Even better is that by staying with us on race days, you can help yourself avoid the usual main road traffic congestion to Prestbury Park by using the back country lanes to get down to the racecourse.

You will miss none of the racing atmosphere, particularly during Gold Cup week in March, as this is true horse country. Several leading National Hunt trainers including Jonjo O'Neil and Nigel Twiston-Davies are based in the Cotswolds. Kim Bailey's yard at Andoversford is located less than 2 miles from Whalley Farm.

Stay at Whalley Farm Bed and Breakfast when you come to any of the race meetings at Cheltenham.

It isn't just the ground that is busy during Festival Week. Look to the skies and you will see numerous helicopters flying over to make their way to the Racecourse.

Cheltenham is much more than just the Gold Cup and there are plenty of other National Hunt meetings at the Racecourse over the season. The April Meeting and the season closing Hunter Chase Evening in May always prove popular. It gives a great opportunity to go racing at a more leisurely pace than the Festival.

Later in the year, the season starts again with The Showcase in October. Full details of all the seasons meetings can be found on the Cheltenham Racecourse website.

Cheltenham Racecourse is the home of National Hunt racing and Whalley Farm is conveniently located with good access to the course.

Continuing the horse racing theme, Whalley Farm is located within walking distance of the Point-to-Point course at Andoversford, with a meeting held normally twice a year by the Cotswold Vale Farmers. From the farm, we can see the course being made ready for the first meeting held on the Sunday after the Grand National in April.

Accomodation for Cheltenham Races is normally reserved well in advance of each meeting, and we recommend you to make your booking early. Please contact Gill Rowe on Cheltenham 01242 820213 or Mobile 07786 437235. You can email your enquiry to rowefarms@farmline.com
